680 FOLSOM STREETINFO
 

Originally built in 1964, 680 Folsom Street is a 14-story office building with 468,783 SF of rentable space that has been completely renovated and seismically retrofitted, necessitated by removal and replacement of nearly everything except the steel frame, and with two floors and four horizontal sections added to the building structure.

The building is the principal structure in a complex that includes adjacent office and retail/office buildings, both also renovated as part of the overall project development plan.

Achieving a LEED Platinum Certification, 680 Folsom is an example of sustainable design through the successful execution of adaptive re-use.

Silverman & Light provided electrical engineering and lighting design for the Core & Shell project, in addition to many of the tenant improvement buildouts.
