The project consists of the design and construction for the new Amgen Bio Pharmaceutical Lab and Office Head Quarters located within BioMed Realty’s brand-new Gateway of the Pacific Phase 2 life science campus in South San Francisco. The state-the-art 250,000 SF laboratory and office facility consolidates several other Amgen lab and office facilities in the area into a single location. The program expands across 8 levels providing biology labs, lab support spaces, and office function. Additionally, the project includes scope in the basement level, on the roof, and on the site to support shipping and receiving, lab support, equipment spaces, storage, an exterior service yard for emergency generator and bulk gas tanks, and MEP equipment on roof levels 9 and 10.
