The Foothill Community College LLRC project included the complete remodel of the existing 48,000 SF library originally designed in 1960.

The new library and resource center creates an environment with multiple modes for study, research, and
learning.

Silverman & Light worked closely with the design team to develop a lighting design approach that blended the modern interior with the 1960 structure to create what the architect coined a new “campus living room” for today’s digital savvy students.
