KAISER OAKLAND BROADWAY MOBINFO
 

Silverman & Light provided electrical engineering and lighting design for this new $96 million, 165,000 SF, 5-story MOB that contains a Specialty Cancer Center providing comprehensive cancer care services. The facility includes LINAC and other specialty imaging suites in the basement, radiation therapy, health education, neurology, pharmacy, clinical lab, hospice and palliative care, chronic pain management, hematology, oncology, infusion center, dermatology, human resources, pediatrics rehabilitation as well as an advanced physical therapy department to assist in helping patients recover from various treatments. The project also included an adjacent $14 million; 1085-stall parking garage. The building opened in May 2009 and utilizes green, sustainable building features throughout.
