The Kaiser Walnut Creek Hospital Acute Care Expansion project was a multi-phases project that spanned to multiple areas throughout the facility and included relocating departments to adjacent outpatient buildings. The core of the project consists of the new Medical/Surgical Department Build-out in the Old Hospital Emergency Department. The project also included the relocation of the 10 departments previously located in the old ED and the associated new department renovation work inclusive of the inpatient Respiratory and Physical Therapy Renovation, outpatient TI renovations in the Maria Lane Building, and outpatient TI renovations in the Lilac Building.
