As part of the collaborative Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) team, Silverman & Light provided electrical engineering and lighting design for the new 7-story, 215,000 SF, 120 acute care bed hospital located in the Inner Mission District of San Francisco. The hospital provides comprehensive medical services including cardiovascular care, breast health, labor and delivery, orthopedics, general surgery, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), urgent care department, and emergency care department. The LEED Gold certified hospital included a unique 12kV radial electrical distribution design and two 1.5-megawatt paralleled diesel generators.
