Winner of the Western Red Cedar Architectural Design Award and the 2013 AIA Small Project Award, the Tahoe City intermodal transit center provides the area with a state-of-the-art facility which features six bus bays, a 1,100 SF terminal with an indoor, heated waiting area w and restrooms, and a covered outdoor waiting area with bench seating.

The Center includes on-site parking, enclosed bike storage, and covers over 2.5 acres adjacent to hiking and bike paths for easier mobility around the north and west shores of Lake Tahoe.
